Course Name - Home Improvement Technical Property Surveyor
Teaches all aspects of surveying for the manufacture and safe installation of all types of windows and doors. You will learn how to assess Health and Safety requirements, building integrity and planning coniderations, run an asbestos evaluation and ensure that all works meet Building Control, Fire and Safety and FENSA Regulations. We also teach you how to measure and calculate accurate manufacturing sizes in readiness for installation. A surveyor has a "duty of care" to both client and contractor to protect both parties' interests.
As a qualified surveyor in this category you can expect to earn £50-£60k pa in an employed capacity and up to £100k on a freelance basis.
